As a nonmember, you can use this calendar to learn about the local activities of our group. Moving your mouse over an event will open a pop-up window with a limited description of the activity and its general location. The Monthly Gathering is the exception. Because it is open to the public, it provides the location and time.

The second Friday of each month is movie night in Kirkland. Attendees are welcome to bring movies that match the theme that was selected the previous month. There is a fascinating discussion of the movies and a vote to choose which movie to watch. The discussions after the movie may be the best part. Movie goers bring snacks and drinks to share.

These second Saturday games are normally in North Seattle with an occasional stop in Lynnwood. Players bring a favorite game and a snack to share. They tend toward verbal (and lyrical) games, but we are capable of flexing. If you don’t play, show up anyway for camaraderie.

Not meeting this January because of weather. This SIG meets on the third Friday of each month in Redmond. Invited speakers discuss current research across the full spectrum of science. Vigorous discussion usually follows the presentation. People always bring a good selection of munchies.

The fourth Saturday games alternate between Redmond (odd months) and Renton (even months). (Note: This month only, we will meet in Kent instead of Renton.) There are lots of games at both places, but feel free to bring your favorites along with a munchie to share. Some of us talk rather than play.
