Kirk Adams, executive director of the Lighthouse for the Blind in Seattle will discuss new employment hopes and maximum quality of life prospects for seven million (70 percent of the total) partially sighted Americans, along with an exposition of their special gifts as deeper sighted persons. The role of federal, state and regional government agencies will be analyzed. The resultant insights will be used to illuminate the prospects of wounded and disabled veterans, their families, and others in difficult situations because of rising medical costs and shrinking income.
